How To Return An Avon Product

Avon want their customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases and that's why they have a brilliant returns policy that you can read all about here in my How To Return An Avon Product Guide.

What Avon says about refunds:

The 100% satisfaction guarantee from Avon

"We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. We'll be glad to exchange your item or refund the full price if you choose to return it within 28 days of delivery. Special terms apply to certain products (such as lingerie) but these are clearly indicated. The Avon guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights. For a full refund on products with a free gift, please return both or your refund will not be processed.

In addition to the rights granted by Avon above, you have a statutory right to cancel your order at any stage after acceptance of your order by Avon, and up to 14 days after receipt. Please note, this right to cancel does not apply to items which are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery (unless they are faulty). If you wish to cancel your order in accordance with your statutory rights, print and complete this form and send it via email to uk.contact@avon.com or by post to Sales Service Centre, Avon Cosmetics Limited, Earlstrees Road, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 4AZ. Alternatively, if you have already received the items, just follow the returns process above."

If you're an Avon Rep looking to refund, exchange, credit or replace an Avon product here are the guidelines:

My customer wishes to obtain a refund or exchange - 

  • There will be times where your Avon customer needs to return an Avon item for a varity of reasons. If they let you know their wishes inside the campaign before you have paid Avon for the item, that's fine, just ask for the item back and return the money to them.
  • If they decide that they'd like to return an item in the next campaign, collect the item but don't issue a refund at this stage as you'll need to be credited by Avon first (see below).
  • Looking to just exchange? That's fine, again, just take the item. I'll talk about how you can make a credit next.

Processing my Avon Credits -

  • log into your Avon Representatives site  and in the My Account section click 'Credits'.
  • Select the campaign that you delivered the Avon product in and complete the volume of credits, together with the reason for return codes. Save and submit across to Avon.
  • ***Try and remember that the credit your receive from Avon will be only for the amount you paid so less the initial 20% or 25% commission, you will, of course, be required to pay back the amount in full to your customer ***

How to replace an Avon item -

  • Like above, log into your Avon account but this time, select 'Replacements'.
  • Again, select the campaign that the Avon product was delivered in and complete the volume of replacements, the reason code for return, along with the new code of the item your Avon wishes to exchange her item for.

The Avon Return Process -

  • In your Avon Representative site you can complete a returns form online. Select the Order Tracking page.
  • You will be required to subit the last four digits of the barcode (this can be found on the back of your first invoice - if you need to order more, you can order these for free using the code 91447).
  • You'll need a strong returns bag to return your items in (these are also free from Avon. Use codes: Small: 90480 or Large: 90472)
  • Enter the same four digits from the barcode inside the parcel barcode box.
  • You can either include a a returns page teared out of your returns booklet or print off the page directly from your representative page.

How to send my returns back to Avon -

  • When you receive your next delivery of ordered products from Avon, pass the return bags to the delivery driver.
  • **Always ask the driver to sign the copy of the returns note.**
  • You can now arrange to refund your customer the amount they paid for the Avon product they wish to return.
