I decided to join Avon as a representative in 2003, simply to earn some extra money for my daughters ballet lessons she wanted, as I had given up my full time job as an estate agent and my then husband said I didn't need to work, but hated asking him for money!

My aim was to have a job to work around my children, finding work was difficult, so Avon has been fantastic in fitting in with my life.

In 2004 Avon brought in sales leadership, I immediately wanted to do this as yet again it fitted in with myself and my family. Within 14 campaigns I reached executive level, all my hard work paid off. I had fantastic support at the time from fellow sales leaders and managers to help me grow my business on a part time basis.

Due to personal reasons in 2010 I decided Avon had to take a back seat and I resigned. I re-joined last year and with the support, help, encouragement from Debbie and Dave I am now building my team again, thank you.

I began building up a new team of Avon representatives on public transport as I didn't drive. This proved to me, so I can tell others, hard work pays off and although easier to drive it is not essential to running your own buisness.

I am now on the road with a car and travel everywhere to simply meet new people, show, support and explain what I do. It has re-built my confidence again and without Debbie and Dave I would not have had this opportunity to grow my business.
